At LAFFi Home, we carefully select velvet as our go-to fabric due to its exceptional durability and softness, making it both practical and luxurious. The thick pile of velvet encourages you to sink in, revealing its vivid depth of colour and giving an opulent appearance to our velvet pieces.

 

Velvet is perfect for creating a focal point in a room, adding a splash of colour to the decor and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially when combined with soft lighting and aromatic candles.

Velvet Care Guide

To maintain the life of your velvet pieces, gently brush in the direction of the fabric pile with a soft, dry brush to remove any surface dirt and then vacuum to eliminate any remaining dust.

When dealing with spills, lightly dab the affected area with a clean, dry cloth, avoiding rubbing.

We recommend that you have your velvet upholstery professionally cleaned to ensure it is properly maintained, preserving its vibrant colour. To prevent colour fading, keep your velvet pieces away from heat and direct sunlight.
